Surgery - Vascular Physician

We are seeking a Vascular Surgeon for an ongoing locum opportunity in Pennsylvania. This assignment consists of weekend-only 24-hour call coverage with APP support and temporary privileges available for qualified candidates.

Assignment Details

• Drive-in providers only

Schedule

• 24-hour weekend call
• Friday 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM

Current Coverage Dates

• September 4-7
• September 11-13
• October 2-4
• October 9-11
• October 23-25

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Vascular Surgery
• Coverage at two hospitals approximately 25 minutes apart
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Weekend vascular surgery call coverage
• Adult patient population
• Vascular bypass procedures
• Amputations
• Emergency vascular surgery as needed
• APP available for first assist

Patient Volume

• Average of approximately 2 hours of callback per day

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC/LOQ in hand
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days
• Temporary privileges available for clean files
• NPDB Self-Query required
• Provider questionnaire and full malpractice disclosure required
