• Schedule: Full-time coverage with 20-22 shifts per month

• Call Coverage: Day, night, and one weekend per month
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,640-$4,310

• Board Certified - required
• Active Iowa Nurse Practitioner license - required
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health experience required
• No new graduates
• Experience working with inpatient psychiatric populations preferred
• Ability to manage consults, rounds, and ongoing psychiatric care
• Comfort working in a collaborative, supervised team environment

• Perform admission histories and psychiatric assessments
• Conduct physical exams and daily rounds for inpatient behavioral health patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans
• Coordinate care in collaboration with the psychiatrist, physicians, and care team
• Provide addiction education and behavioral health management
• Complete administrative and coordination-of-care duties as needed
• Support care for adults and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting
