We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Duncanville, TX, seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team, part-time, in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role will be WEEKENDS ONLY!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Responsible for full medical management and primary care
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
  • Weekends only: Available to be onsite Saturday and Sunday
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Physician Assistant license in Texas
  • Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum 1 year of internal medicine experience as an NP
  • Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
  • Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting
Preferred Experience:
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
  • Background in internal medicine and/or geriatrics
Schedule & Setting:
  • Weekends Only! Saturday and Sunday
  • No nights
  • Skilled Nursing Facility setting

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
  • Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
  • Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
