We are seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to be part of a dedicated anesthesiology team at a Level 1 trauma center. This position offers flexible day shifts and a collaborative environment, ideal for experienced professionals looking to make an impact in patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery and neurosurgical cases.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff.
• Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
• Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia.
• Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Work variable shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Required
• Active Michigan RN License - Required
• NBCRNA Board Certification - Required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications - Required
• Full-time availability - Required
• Clean Malpractice/License History - Required
• Willingness to work flexible day shifts - Required
• Experience required; new graduates will not be considered.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Michigan RN License - Required
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification - Required
• NBCRNA Board Certification - Required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA) - Required
