Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens CRNA coverage needed for multiple weeks from July through early October

  • Available coverage weeks include July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, August 3-7, August 31-September 4, September 21-24, and September 28-October 2

  • Ongoing need with potential for additional dates beyond those listed

  • Board certification required at minimum Certified level

  • Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS

  • Surgical types include cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases

  • General anesthesia required for both adult and pediatric patients

  • Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia skills required

  • Obstetrical cases and open heart anesthesia experience required

  • Complex vascular and complex orthopedic case experience required

  • Pain management techniques including post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks required

  • Epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical, as well as transforaminal procedures (lumbar and cervical) required

  • Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks required

  • Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues required

  • Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement required

  • Independent practice without CRNA supervision required
