Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial and Industrial Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, blueprints, and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various power tools and equipment. The Commercial Electrician will ensure that all electrical work is performed safely and efficiently while adhering to industry standards.

The hours are 7am-6pm Monday-Friday, with the potential to work 6-7 days a week. Catering is provided on site at no extra charge to you. Come be part of history and make some killer money!

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks including frame carpentry and maintenance person duties.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations during all installations and repairs.
  • Work with low voltage systems, including logic controllers, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role in the electrical field.
  • US citizenship required for badging
  • Clean background required for badging
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with NEC regulations and standards.
  • Experience with power tools, hand tools, and basic frame carpentry skills is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Valid electrician's license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
