JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM)
  • Licenses: Active Ohio medical license and DEA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ATLS required (ABFM/ABIM must maintain; ABEM providers must show documentation of past ATLS completion)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
  • Other Qualifications: Must provide copies of degree, residency certificate, board certificate, photo ID, driver's license, TB test, flu shot documentation; claims history for past 5 years; three peer references
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Perform emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, central line insertion, suturing, sedation, etc.).
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, NPPAs, and consulting specialists for patient management.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EPIC EMR system.
  • Participate in trauma team activations and respond to codes as required.
