Urology Physician

• Schedule:
  • 24-hour call shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
  • Typically 3-4 call days per week
  • Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 1 OR day per week (starts at 7:00 AM)
• Weekday & weekend coverage required

High-Need Dates Include (not exhaustive):

• Urology Clinic and call coverage. Typically 3 or 4 days of call per week
• July 27, 29, 31Nov 23, 25, 26, 27, 28Dec 26-31
• Open Clinic Dates:July 23, 28, 30Nov 24

• Pennsylvania License: Required
• IMLC: Accepted

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology: Required

• General adult urology required
• Must be comfortable with:
  • Inpatient rounding and consults
  • Outpatient clinic
  • OR procedures

• Hospital + Clinic (mixed setting)
• Patient Population:
  • 40% Adult
  • 60% Geriatric
• EMR: Epic

• 15% inpatient / 85% outpatient
• 2-4 inpatient census daily
• 5-7 consults per day
• Full-spectrum urology care including call, clinic, and procedures

Required:

• General urology
• Ureteroscopy
• TRUS biopsies
• Incontinence procedures
• Holmium laser certification
• Destoning

Preferred:

• PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy)
• Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit
• Radical prostatectomy
• Fertility workup

• 2 physicians
• 2 PAs
• RN + clinical staff
• Surgical schedulers + front office team
• Established, collaborative urology group

• 24-hour call coverage
• Inpatient rounding (2-4 patients/day)
• Manage 5-7 consults/day
• Perform urologic procedures
• Clinic and OR participation

• PA license or IMLC required
• Must be comfortable with call + clinic + OR
• Must perform core urology procedures (including laser/destoning)
• Ongoing availability preferred
