Cardiology - Invasive Physician

Job Title: Locum to Perm - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Join a dynamic healthcare team in Pomona, New Jersey, where patient care is at the forefront of our mission. We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician Provider specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology to support our facilities, which include a Mainland campus with 400 beds and a City campus with 200 beds. Our cardiology department consists of 24 skilled professionals, ensuring collaborative and enriching work experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services.
• Manage inpatient care and participate in weekend call rotation (2+ weekends per month).
• Oversee an average of 20 clinic patients per day.
• Utilize Oracle/Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
• Perform essential procedures including echocardiography, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and treadmill stress tests.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Cardiology (REQUIRED)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (REQUIRED)
• New Jersey State License (REQUIRED)
• Fellowship training in Cardiology (REQUIRED)
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
• NPDB Self-Query report (to be obtained within 30 days of presentation) (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• New Jersey State License
