Reach Truck Operator

Position Summary

The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a reach truck forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in a warehouse or distribution center. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting production goals, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards.

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
• Safely retrieve materials from high racking systems
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
• Accurately pick, pull, and prepare orders for shipment
• Verify product counts and inspect materials for damage
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and supervisors

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent reach truck experience required
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
• Experience working with high racking (20+ feet preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and operating equipment
• Overtime may be required based on production demands
