• Car sales experience required
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required

Job description:

As a sales manager, you will provide training to the sales department, ensure inventory is managed and priced, negotiate and desk deals, and manage the showroom. You will be responsible for effective and profitable sales of vehicle inventory as well as maintaining industry standards set forth by the dealership.

REPORTS TO: Dealer/General Manager

DUTIES:

• Obtain approval from finance source on finance deals
• Close deals on sales floor for sales staff
• Forecasting daily and monthly goals for the department and strive to meet them
• Completing customer follow up
• Monitoring all three areas of traffic: showroom, e-commerce and phones
• Running day to day operations of the department
• Training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of sales associates
• Adhere to manufacturer programs and guidelines
