Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

An inpatient behavioral health facility in Mansfield Center, Connecticut is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide medical oversight and perform physical exams for adult psychiatric patients. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support a 56-bed unit and manage a daily patient volume in a collaborative clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Setting: Inpatient behavioral health

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical oversight for patients in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting
• Perform physical examinations and routine clinical assessments
• Manage care for approximately 10 to 12 patients per day
• Collaborate with the behavioral health care team to support patient treatment
• Document patient evaluations, findings, and care plans accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner license
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification
• Experience providing care in a clinical or behavioral health setting
