Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing locum opportunity in New York. This assignment offers guaranteed full-time hours, flexible shift options, and a collaborative Emergency Department environment.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing coverage
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Emergency Department coverage

Schedule

Multiple shift options available, including:

• 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• 11:00 AM 11:00 PM
• 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 4:30 PM 12:30 AM

Day, evening, and night shifts available throughout the week.

Practice Setting

• Emergency Department
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients
• Perform emergency medicine assessments and procedures within scope
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
• Document patient encounters in Epic

Requirements

Nurse Practitioners

• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• Active New York RN and NP licenses
• FNP certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Active New York DEA

Physician Assistants

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Active New York PA license
• NCCPA certification
• Active New York DEA

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• ATLS

Additional Requirements

• Active state license required
• Active DEA (and CSR if applicable)
• Current immunizations and credentialing documents
• New graduates may be considered with appropriate training
