Family Practice - With OB Physician

ATC West Healthcare is seeking one temporary Primary Care provider (NP, PA, or MD/DO) to provide full-time coverage while the organization recruits a permanent clinician. This position focuses on caring for an adult and geriatric patient population in an established primary care practice using Epic EMR, with no ED backup or provider supervision responsibilities.

Dates / Schedule

• Tentative Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Assignment Length: Minimum of 12 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday Thursday
• Patient Volume: Approximately patients per day
• Credentialing: Temporary privileges available; approximately 10 business days

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services for adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform routine evaluations and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Conduct pelvic exams and Pap smears as needed.
• Perform disability examinations.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.
• Work alongside a team of 5 primary care physicians and 4 advanced practice providers.
• No responsibility for supervising other healthcare providers.
• No emergency department backup or call coverage required.
• Practice includes 2 3 exam rooms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• NP, PA, or MD/DO eligible for the position.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must become board certified within 3 years of training completion).
• Minimum 1 year of Primary Care experience.
• Active Michigan medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be available to work full-time Monday through Thursday.
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
• Must be a local Michigan drive-in provider.
