Required Coverage Dates

• Potential for additional August coverage

Availability Requirements

• Onsite coverage only
• Daytime coverage
• Weekend coverage required as scheduled
• No call responsibilities

Licensure Requirements

• Active Florida Medical License required (or ability to obtain)

Board Certification Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Ophthalmologist

Clinical ResponsibilitiesAmbulatory Coverage

• Tuesday: 8-hour clinic day
• Wednesday: PRN clinic coverage if ROP treatment is needed

Inpatient Coverage

• Wednesday NICU rounding for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)
• ROP rounds generally from 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Afternoon clinic coverage for ROP follow-up and treatment as needed

• Pediatric Ophthalmology
• Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Screening and Treatment
• NICU Patient Care
• Inpatient and Outpatient Coverage

Facility Requirements

• Onsite hand hygiene demonstration required prior to first shift
• Employee health onboarding requirements must be completed before start date
• All coverage is onsite; no telemedicine option available
