Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

• Specialty: Orthopedic NP

• Shift Details: 8 am 4:30 pm
• Schedule: Tues/Thurs (possible Friday 8am- 3pm)
• Work Details: Seeing New and established non-emergent acute fracture care, cortisone joint injections, Visco Supplementation injections, acute/chronic pain Orthopedic/Sports Medicine evaluations.
• Support Staff: MA, LPN, AT, Clinical lead, Front desk lead, Practice manager
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 2-3 days per week
• Patients per day: 25-30
• Patient Population/Age: 13-90+
• Department Description: Orthopedic/Sports Medicine
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Bed size: 144
• Special Procedures: non-surgical
• Skills Required: Fracture evaluation and management, evaluation of acute and chronic pain of orthopedic/sports medicine injuries/conditions, performing large and small joint injections/aspirations, medication prescriptions/management
• Practice Setting: Clinic/Private Practice
• Requirements:
• License Required: Will license
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications Preferred: CAQSM
• Minimum Experience Required: 3 years
• Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP
