Local Team Collaboration:
- At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers.
- Our model consists of 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.
- Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21-bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds.
- Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers.
- Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, and Podiatry.
- Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
- Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner with Emergency Medicine experience, ENP certification preferred.
- Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- APPs work 11-hour shifts.
- Full-time is 120 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation.
- CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night.
- Bedside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians.

- Known as one of the Tri-Cities, composed of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, and located in southeastern Washington. Kennewick is known for its rich agriculture and beautiful wine country-plenty of sunshine with little precipitation, which makes for mild four seasons.
- Beautiful nature includes three major rivers and mountain ranges nearby, with plenty of outdoor recreation. Wineries and vineyards, river recreation, fishing, golf, and entertainment events offer year-round activities.
- Known for excellent schools, which make for a great place to raise a family.
- Up-and-coming metropolitan areas and larger metropolitan areas of Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland, Oregon, are only a few hours away.
Rewards and Compensation:
- W2 hourly compensation rate of $115/hr.
