Pediatrics Physician Assistant

A healthcare network in Vermont is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide call coverage for their Pediatric Care team.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Thursdays (some weekends)
• Hours: 5pm to 8am
• Notes:
• One in four weekends starting Thursday at 5:00 PM
• May extend through Monday 8:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Newborn nursery coverage
• Pediatric consults in the Emergency Department
• Inpatient pediatrics for patients under age 18
• Routine newborn care in the nursery
• High-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• VT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Experience with Newborn Nursery Care
• Experience in Pediatric Consultations
• Knowledge of Neonatal Resuscitation
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attentioin to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in Pediatric Care
• Experience in NICU stabilization
• Leadership in High-Risk Delivery situations
