Job Title: Locum OB/GYN Physician

Facility and Practice Overview:

This facility is seeking OB/GYN coverage for urgent needs, offering an environment that prioritizes patient care. You will have the opportunity to work both in the hospital and clinic settings, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide OB/GYN services in both hospital and clinic settings.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage, offering support for patients as needed.
• Conduct clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 3 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
• Perform essential procedures including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, and more.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Manage an average of 20 patients in clinic on scheduled days.
• Address emergencies and handle unstable cases, with back-up support from the Laborist as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• Active Virginia medical license.
• Active Virginia DEA and CSR certifications.
• ABOG and BLS certifications required.
• Able to cover the specified call dates and clinic shifts.
• Proven procedure logs with a minimum of 50 deliveries and 15 C-sections within the last 12 months.
• Clean background record for temporary position consideration.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in OB/GYN (REQUIRED).
• Active Virginia DEA and CSR (REQUIRED).
• Active Virginia medical license (REQUIRED).
• ABOG and BLS certification (REQUIRED).
• Must be able to provide a self-query NPBD report.
