General Surgery - Surgical Oncology NP/PA opening in NY Located in Cooperstown, NY Full-Time, PermanentAn integrated academic health system in central New York is seeking a General Surgery Physician Assistant to join an established surgical team in Cooperstown. This opportunity offers a hands-on operative role with first-assist responsibilities, clinic and hospital coverage, optional paid call, and strong earning potential.

• Join an established General Surgery group of 10 surgeons and 6 APCs
• Serve as first assistant to Oncologic and Robotic surgeons
• Responsibilities may include clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, admissions, and consultations as needed
• Previous surgical experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Optional call coverage available with additional $20,000 annual stipend
• Integrated health system serving an eight-county region across 5,600 square miles
• Network includes five affiliated hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and related health partners
Compensation & Recruitment Package:
• Salary range: $135,000 - $155,000
• Performance-based compensation available
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
Job Qualifications:
• National Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
