KPMG is currently seeking a Global Payroll Manager to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice.
Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end implementation of our proprietary multi-country payroll solution including project management, stakeholder engagement and change management
- Partner with client mobility, HR, payroll, vendors and/or finance teams to gather requirements, map data flows/wage codes and configure and test the solution and integrations for bespoke payroll reporting
- Manage end-to-end payroll delivery, including compensation data collection/validation, delivery of country-specific payroll instructions, pre/post payroll controls and reconciliations, shadow payroll support, and year-end reconciliation to wage statements to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll and tax reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver a seamless experience, act as a trusted advisor, and support business development and engagement economics
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, system enhancements while maintaining technical expertise in global payroll trends and regulations
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in the payroll arena including the expatriate compensation, international payroll and pay delivery, shadow payroll, domestic payroll
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, Enrolled Agent, CPP (Certified Payroll Professional), GPHR (Global HR Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional), in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
- Experience implementing technology solutions and working knowledge of leading payroll software (SAP, ADP GlobalView, Paychex, Paylocity, MasterTax) and integration experience with global HCM platforms (Workday, SAP HR, SuccessFactors, Oracle) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Willingness to travel as needed and work a flexible schedule in a balanced hybrid environment to meet client requirements
