Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts per week 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Rare overtime No call
- Job Setting: Hospital/Surgical Facility - 5 rooms Open to local locums
- Types of Cases: GU and GI cases Adults only (no pediatrics) Supervision and own cases (1:3 or 1:4 ratio)
- Charting: Paper with iPro
- Credentialing: Privileging approximately 30 days
- Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse New Jersey license required
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
