Hospitalist Physician Assistant
Provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure and competency level. Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures as appropriate.

What you can expect at your practice:
- Per?diem Hospitalist opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in an inpatient hospital setting
- Provide PTO and CME coverage for a collaborative team of eight full?time advanced practice providers
- Primarily daytime shifts, 7:00 a.m. ? 6:00 p.m.
- Responsible for inpatient rounding, consults, and admissions as needed
- Manage patients across acute medical and orthopedic inpatient beds
- Work closely with hospitalist physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Minimum commitment of six (6) shifts within a six?month period required for PRN status
- Ideal opportunity for APPs seeking schedule flexibility, per?diem work, or supplemental clinical hours
- Hospital?based role offering exposure to acute care medicine and inpatient workflows

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
- Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
- Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
- 1 year Required
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
- Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
