Surgery - General Physician Assistant
As our Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will join our collegial healthcare team in Seattle at Virginia Mason Medical Center. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic led by three plastic surgeons serving patients in the Seattle, Bellevue and Federal Way communities. The new hire will join our existing team of 3 plastic reconstructive surgeons as well as 2 experienced PAs, The practice is 80% reconstructive and 20% cosmetic. We cover the breadth of plastic surgery including breast reconstruction, microsurgery, body contouring, melanoma care, hand surgery, cancer reconstruction, and a variety of cosmetic procedures.
Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

We are offering a guaranteed salary based on APP experience, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance. Retirement plans include both 401(k) and 457(b).
Job Requirements

Required
- Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed in the state of Washington as a P.A. or ARNP by the time of employment
- Board certified by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association CPR certification.
Preferred
- Minimum of one year work experience as an advanced practice provider in any surgical specialty

Pay Range
$155,000 - $187,700 /year
