Schedule:

• Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Looking for full-week coverage (5 days/week)
• Weekend call may be required.

Call Coverage :

• Weekend Call: 24-hour call.
• Weekday Night Call: Shared with other providers.
• Call Responsibilities:
  • RN questions
  • Patient phone calls
  • Questions regarding chemotherapy patients
  • Minimal ED consults

Patient Volume :

• Approximately 17 patients per day.
• New Patients: 1 hour.
• Follow-ups: 20 minutes.

Support & Facility :

• 1 Medical Assistant.
• Several Registered Nurses.
• EMR: MOSAIQ.
• 18-bed chemotherapy infusion suite.
• Dedicated pharmacists for chemotherapy education.
• Radiation Oncology is located in the same building.
• Commission on Cancer (CoC) Accredited Cancer Center.
• Weekly tumor board meetings.
• Clinical trials available (Phase II & III).

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board eligible in Hematology and Oncology - Required
• NM License or willingness to obtain (Required)
• BLS - Required
