Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call Weekday and weekend coverage is needed, but all shift availability will be considered. Schedule:

• Flexible availability accepted.
• Weekend Call:
  • Friday: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM Saturday (start may be delayed to 8:00 PM if commuting)
  • Saturday: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM Sunday
  • Sunday: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM Monday

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Manage Cardiac ICU admissions.
• Comfortable treating:
  • STEMI
  • Unstable Ventricular Tachycardia (VT)
  • Ventricular Fibrillation (VF)
  • Cardiogenic shock
• Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology (EP), and Heart Failure teams provide on-call backup.

Support & EMR:

• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) available during every shift.
• EMR: Cerner

Required Credentials:

• Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License Required
• Active NC DEA Required
• Board Certified (BC) - Required
• Must be able to read ECGs and Echocardiograms (ECHO).
