Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Need: Ongoing coverage due to long-term permanent vacancy

Practice Details:

• Inpatient setting
  
• Hospital, clinic, and call coverage
  
• Epic EMR
  
• Stroke-certified facility
  
• Average patient volume: 6 10 patients per shift
  
• Level III Trauma Center
  
• No admissions required
  
• No APP supervision required
  

Schedule:

• Coverage needed: Minimum 1 week per month
  
• Seeking 2 providers to assist with ongoing coverage
  
• Onsite coverage: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  
• Weeknight beeper call: 5:00 PM 8:00 AM
  
• Weekend 24-hour beeper call
• Minimum requirement: 7 shifts per month
  
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day

Support Staff:

• 2 PA/NPs
  
• 1 RN
  
• 5 Medical Assistants
  
• 5 6 office staff members

Requirements:

• Active Oregon medical license required
  
• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  
• DEA required
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
  
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Interview Process:
Providers will first complete a phone screening with the lead physician followed by a Teams interview with the cardiology team.
