• Setting: Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic and hospital-based outpatient care
• Location: Pendleton, Oregon - an Eastern Oregon community known for scenic landscapes, small-town charm, and outdoor recreation
• Start Date: July 13, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 days per week, Monday through Thursday
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $12,910 - $13,830
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15-18 patients per day
• Call: No callback or on-call responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Oregon medical license preferred; IMLC and non-licensed candidates may be considered with license obtained during credentialing
• DEA required during credentialing
• BLS certification required
• Residency and fellowship requirements must be met
• Ability to perform bone marrow biopsies required
• At least 1 year of hematology/oncology experience preferred
• Strong clinical background in outpatient oncology care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient hematology/oncology care
• Serve as a chemotherapy program director/provider
• Perform bone marrow biopsies
• Manage outpatient consults and follow-up care
• Collaborate with a supportive care team, including trained advanced practice providers and nursing staff
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy but well-organized outpatient setting
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care
