Job Requirements

• Active Alaska medical license required
• Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Fellowship training preferred
• At least 1 year of interventional cardiology experience required
• ACLS required
• ABLS required
• BLS required
• Ability to manage a patient volume of approximately 15 encounters per shift

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage for the assigned dates
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac conditions requiring interventional expertise
• Perform procedures and clinical care consistent with interventional cardiology practice
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a high standard of clinical quality
• Adapt to the needs of a busy cardiology service while delivering compassionate care
