Locum - Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage in an inpatient setting.
• Perform procedures, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Manage medical treatment for vascular diseases and conduct coronary angiograms.
• Participate in clinical rounds and on-call emergency care when necessary.
• Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists in the unit.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient record management.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Virginia state medical license.
• Clean malpractice history.
• A Self-Query NPDB report, obtained within the last 30 days.
