An established, community-focused health center in Sioux Center, IA (51250) is seeking a compassionate General Dentist for an ongoing locum assignment starting late July. This role is ideal for a clinician who prioritizes patient-first care and enjoys working within a supportive, diverse community environment.

Clinical Scope & Patient Demographics:
  • The Mission: A fast-paced, dedicated community practice where patient care always comes first. The facility is fully equipped to support a diverse population, including on-site interpreters to ensure seamless patient communication.
  • Daily Volume: 18-20 (this includes hygiene checks)
  • Patient Mix: Family-focused practice running roughly 60% pediatrics and 40% adults.
  • Procedures: Extractions are a must. Additional scope includes composite fillings, stainless steel crowns for kids, standard crowns/bridges, removable prosthodontics, and basic endodontics.
  • Tech Stack: Fully digital workflow utilizing Dentrix Enterprise, Trios 6 scanner, hand-held X-ray units, and PAN/CBCT.
  • Onsite Support Network: Heavily staffed to handle patient flow, featuring 5 DAs, 1 Coordinator, 2 Receptionists, a Consultant, an Interpreter, and 1 RDH.
Requirements:
  • Active, clear Iowa Dental License and BLS.
  • Must be actively enrolled in Iowa Medicaid.
  • DEA registration is highly preferred.
  • Standard credentialing timeframe runs 6 12 weeks.
