Locums - Galesburg, Illinois - Non-Invasive Cardiologist Job

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible non-invasive cardiologist

• General cardiology

• Start date: October 2026

• Ongoing assignment

• Schedule:

  • Seven-day coverage blocks every other month

  • 24-hour coverage from 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM

  • Approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM is in-house patient care

  • Flat 24-hour all-inclusive daily rate

  • Daily rate includes call, callback, inpatient coverage, and outpatient clinic responsibilities

  • Low callback volume

• Providers can expect approximately eight hours of direct patient care daily, consisting of:

  • Full-day inpatient coverage, or

  • A combination of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic

• Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Inpatient cardiology consults and rounding

  • Outpatient cardiology clinic

  • Stress test interpretation

  • Echocardiogram reading and interpretation

  • Management of general cardiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Average inpatient census: 15 patients per day

• Average outpatient clinic volume: 8-10 patients per day

• EMR: Epic

• Illinois medical license required or IMLC eligibility accepted
