What You ll Do:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to inpatients across all acuity levels from ICU to progressive care units
  • Evaluate patients with diagnoses including cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson s, and more
  • Develop and implement plans of care focused on ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and activities to improve functional outcomes
  • Assess appropriateness of discharge disposition daily
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary acute rehab team of 19 professionals
  • Document care and progress using Cerner charting system
  • Participate in team rounds and contribute to patient recovery planning

What You Need:
  • IN state license and NBCOT certification
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Strong assessment, communication, and team collaboration skills
