We are seeking a skilled and dependable mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light, medium, heavy-duty trucks and trailers to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, basic hand tools, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light/medium/heavy duty trucks, semi-trucks, and trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including but not limited to brakes, suspension, steering, tires, lighting, basic engine components, and trailer repairs.
• Conduct DOT annual inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles safely.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and recommendations clearly.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a light/medium/heavy-duty truck and trailer mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of engine systems, air systems, suspension systems, basic electrical diagnostics procedures, brake systems, and trailer components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic software. measuring technics, and proper tool usage to safely repair commercial vehicles.
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time position: schedule may include evenings or weekends as needed.
