Shift Details
Call coverage to start; clinic and OR needs may be added later
36 patient contact hours per week
Monday-Friday with call rotation
Weekend coverage required
Scheduling model: 7 days on / 7 days off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Requirements
Board Certified in Plastic Surgery
Active Iowa license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
Must be experienced
Clean malpractice history and no background issues
Must be available for call coverage starting July 10
Availability for either 7 on / 7 off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off scheduling
Must be comfortable with breast reconstruction - please note at time of name clear

Assignment Details
Inpatient responsibility required
Patient demographics include surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages
Average clinic volume: 16+ visits per full day depending on visit type
Appointment length: 15-30 minutes
EMR: Epic
Advanced practice providers on site; supervision not required
Nursing support: 1:1
Responsibilities include trauma call, emergency department consults, in-office consults and procedures, and reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons
