Coverage Needed

• Start Date: July 13, 2026

• Schedule: Monday-Friday; 2 weeks per month
  • Night call 1 night per week

Clinical Details

• EMR System: Meditech (transitioning to Epic in October)
• Practice Settings: Mix of clinic and hospital consults
• Clinic and test interpretation, hospital consult (Echo, nuclear, stress, holters)
• Patients Per Day:
  • Clinic: 12 patients per day
  • Consults: 5-9 per day
• Typically do the inpatient consults first/in the morning and then afternoon clinic
• Support Staff: Another physician onsite that is an IC but shares reading with the General
• Beds: Small-mid size hospital 60-100 beds (some are closed beds)
• Nuclear capped at 6/day
• Echos only 2 techs 12-20 per day
• Pacemaker replacement occasionally - preferred

Requirements

• Licenses: Active Illinois license or IMLC
• Local candidate in IL or licensed with active DEA and available for 2 weeks per month
