Cardiology Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: Ongoing
• Weekday & Weekend night call (in house night coverage)
• Schedule:
  • Weekend shifts: 5 pm on Friday until 7am the next day (could start as late as 8 pm if commute time needed); Starts 6 pm to 7 am Sat and Sun nights

Clinical Details

• Must be comfortable with Cardiac ICU admissions and management (including STEMI, unstable VT and VF and cardiogenic shock management) with Interventional, EP and Heart failure team at home back-up
• Support Staff: APP supporting the shift at all times
• Practice EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active NC License and DEA
• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Must be board certified with ECG and ECHO reading skills
