This well-established medical group operates a modern outpatient facility dedicated to providing high-quality cardiovascular care to the Northern California region. The facility features strong support staff including MAs, Clinic Supervisors, and RNs, and utilizes Cerner EMR to support efficient and effective patient care delivery.

Job Details:

• Seeking 1 General Cardiologist for a 6+ month engagement beginning end of June/early July
• 100% outpatient general cardiology setting - no inpatient responsibilities
• Full scope outpatient general cardiology duties; Interventional Cardiologists will be considered but must be comfortable performing general cardiology
• Average of 20 patients per day; no hospital admissions
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm (8-hour days with 1-hour lunch)
• Client will consider 2 providers working 2 weeks per month as an alternative scheduling arrangement
• EMR: Cerner
• Support staff includes MA, Clinic Supervisor, and RN
• Board Certification in Cardiology required; Board Eligible candidates will not be considered
• Active California medical license required
• Fellowship/Residency must be from a program accredited by ACGME, AACOM, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred; dismissed claims only will be considered
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory at time of submission
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days; Foundation privileges only

Compensation:
