Surgery - Vascular Physician

Schedule: 24 hour call only; weekday 7:30a-7:30a; weekend Fri 5p-Mon 7:30a; schedule negotiable (typically 1 night/week + 1 weekend/month)

Patient Volume: 5 inpatient encounters/day

EMR: Meditech Expanse and eClinicalWorks

Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS

Required Procedures/Skills: Cardiothoracic and vascular patient management; consults/emergencies; CABG (on pump); valvular repair; cardiac aneurysm repair; lung resection including VATS; central and arterial lines; PA catheter insertion; acute volume/BP management

Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (BC preferred)

Licensure Requirements: Active New Hampshire license or ability to obtain; facility will wait for license

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days

Additional Details: Adult inpatient only; supported by nursing, APPs, and MAs; ongoing need until permanent hire; must attend monthly medical staff orientation (3rd Tuesday)
