Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized plans of care for patients in their homes
  • Evaluate patient needs, establish goals, and provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence in daily activities
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor OT assistants and students as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in electronic medical records
  • Promote a safe, clean environment adhering to safety protocols and standards
  • Practice in accordance with AOTA standards of care and ethical guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Transfer and position patients safely and efficiently

What You Need:
  • Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform patient transfers and positioning
  • Preferred: home health or outpatient experience, BLS certification
