Anesthesiology Physician

Coverage Needed :

• ASAP - December 2026
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour days
• Call: Unrestricted overnight call and weekend hotel call
  • July 20-24
  • July 27 - Aug 2

Clinical Details :

• Cases: Open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases
  • Additional Duties: Assisting with general cases if needed
• Setting: 187-bed Level 1 Trauma/Academic Center, 15 ORs in main, 3 endoscopy suites, 2 EP Lab/TEE/Invasive & Non-invasive Cardiology/Neuro IR/Bronch/MRI Lines/Obstetrics
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients only, No Peds
• 360-450 Cardiac cases per year
• 2 cardiac surgeons on staff
• Cases are hands on, may need to supervise a CRNA occasionally

Requirements :

• Board Certified in cardiac and in transeaophageal echo
• NE license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - Highly Preferred
• TEE Certified
• Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship
  • Must have completed an approved ACGME or International equivalent CV anesthesia fellowship AND achieved at least testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE)
    • or must have at least five years documented CV Anesthesia experience with letters of recommendations from both anesthesiologists and CV surgeons AND achieved testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography, as defined by NBE
• Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
• Local candidates - Preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report (must be dated within 30 days)
