Hematology/Oncology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• 7/20/2026 - ongoing
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
• Preferred Schedule: Full time (4 days per week), along with 1-4 weekend call coverage per month
  • Open to considering providers who can commit to 1-2 days per week along with covering one weekend call per month
  • Clinic: M-Th 830a-400p
  • 24-hour weekend call: every 4th weekend Friday 8a-Monday 8am

Clinical Details:

• EMR: EPIC Beacon
• Support Staff: Supported by an inpatient APP during standard daytime hours for inpatient and consultative services
• Types of Calls: In-House; Telephone
  • Call: must cover inpatients admitted for oncology reasons Monday to Friday; covering new inpatient consults and night call
• Will work solo
• 100% Adults
• Responsible for the management of oncology inpatients admitted under provider's service during clinic hours Monday through Friday
• One designated weekday per week, responsible for covering all new inpatient oncology consults and providing overnight call coverage
• 12 -15 Patients
• New and Follow-up appointments
• Average Admissions While On Call: 5

Requirements:

• Board Certified Hematology and Oncology
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Active MD license
• DEA, CSR
• Certifications Required: BLS
