• Schedule: 7-hr (7a-7a) call shifts per month
• Coverage Type: Inpatient only (no clinic - hospital based)
• Cover 2 sites

• Procedure/OR Days: OR access every day
• Call: Yes, inpatient only
• Inpatient Responsibilities
• Job Responsibilities: Cover orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons
• Number of Physicians: 8 (combination of total joint, spine, hand, podiatry)
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 8
• Nursing Support: Nursing and APP support in OR
• Services Offered: Any orthopedic traumas (Trauma level III)
• Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 230-250
• EMR: Cerner
• Inpatient Ortho Trauma Call: required to be on 24-hour call from 7a-7a and must be within 30 minutes of the facility at all times when on call
  • called in to see inpatient cases as needed

Requirements

• Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Active IA and/or IL License or Active IMLC
• Fellowship Trained in Orthopedics
• Must be experienced
• Willingness to work at both locations
• Clean Malpractice/Background
• Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)
