• Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; On-call evenings (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends (Saturday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM)
• Hours/Week: Full-time hours
• Employment Type: Locum, temporary
• Licensure/Certs: Virginia medical license, DEA, Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (preferred)
• Experience: Prior experience in interventional cardiology procedures and inpatient settings preferred

What You ll Do:

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology services, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angiograms, PCI, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Manage acute cardiac cases and participate in STEMI call coverage with on-call responsibilities
• Use EPIC EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists and healthcare providers
• Follow facility protocols and ensure patient safety during all procedures
• Assist with outpatient and inpatient cardiac assessments as needed
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient education efforts

What You Need:

• Virginia medical license (temporary/emergency privileges accepted)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• At least 2 years of relevant cardiology experience
• Proficiency in coronary angioplasty, PCI, and other invasive procedures
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment
