JOB TITLE: Clinical Behavioral Program Manager - Up to $2,000 in retention bonuses (Talk to the recruiter for details)

DEPARTMENT: Residential

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

SUMMARY:

The Clinical Behavioral Program Manager ensures and maintains regulatory compliance as mandated by licensing and Regional Centers. The Clinical Behavioral Program Manager will develop an initial positive behavior support plan (PBSP). Create & implement behavior support protocols specific to the particular behavioral needs of each client. Must have a certification or license.

Includes up to $2,000 in retention bonuses (to be paid out in $500 installments per 6 months worked in first 2 years of employment)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Client Assessment & Behavioral Support
    • Observe clients on an individualized basis.
    • Develop initial Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) and update them as client needs change.
    • Produce, review, and modify PBSPs.
    • Evaluate potential clients for placement into supported living residential homes.
    • Participate in the screening of referrals and conduct initial intake assessments of potential clients.
    • Attend planning meetings to develop or modify behavioral support plans.
    • Participate in client psychoactive medication review appointments.
    • Create and implement visual aids as needed for clients.
    • Address behavioral, communication, and self-care challenges through individualized interventions.
  • Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting
    • Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate behavioral data.
    • Conduct weekly reviews of behavior data and habilitative goal tracking sheets to ensure accurate tracking by direct support staff.
    • Enter behavior data into Excel or other tracking software for annual and semi-annual reporting purposes.
    • Review all incident reports related to behavioral episodes.
    • Conduct comprehensive program evaluations.
    • Conduct fidelity evaluations to ensure behavioral support plans are implemented and services are delivered as designed.
  • Staff Training & Development
    • Train direct support staff on PBSP implementation.
    • Provide training to Residential staff on clients' behavioral support plans.
    • Create and deliver behavioral support training in collaboration with the Behavior and CP Director and Area Directors.
    • Provide one-to-one and group training for staff as needed.
    • Provide progressive counseling to staff regarding knowledge, implementation, and client progress related to behavior plans.
    • Develop and oversee behavioral strategies while providing ongoing consultation to direct support staff.
  • Collaboration & Interdisciplinary Coordination
    • Attend client care committee meetings.
    • Collaborate with behavioral professionals, supervisors, case managers, client guardians, teachers, caseworkers, medical specialists, and direct support staff.
    • Work with the Behavior and CP Director and Area Directors to ensure departmental compliance.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to support client success and continuity of care.
  • Program Oversight & Quality Assurance
    • Implement individualized interventions to improve client outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with best practices in behavioral interventions.
    • Conduct fidelity monitoring and quality assurance reviews.
    • Maintain and promote SAILS Behavioral and Organizational Philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Participate in Crisis On-Call rotation.
    • Complete other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have their Behavior Certification: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) for Supported Living Services for IDD.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a minimum of three years supervisory experience in social work, child care, and/or support staff industry providing direct services to the elderly and or children/adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience providing behavioral tech support to adults of children with Autism, Intellectual Disability, Behavioral Disorders or Mental Health
  • Must have fingerprints and criminal clearance prior to starting.
  • Must have a driver's license and a vehicle to drive.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have intimate understanding of Residential Services Statement of Work.
