Cardiology Physician

We areseeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist for a locum tenensoutpatient cardiology opportunity in Redding, California. This assignment isanticipated to begin in late June/early July and continue for six months orlonger, providing a consistent weekday schedule with an excellent work-lifebalance.

Thisopportunity is ideal for a General Cardiologist or an InterventionalCardiologist who is comfortable practicing 100% outpatient general cardiologywithout procedural responsibilities.

Compensation: $350 Per Hour

• Start Date: End of June / Early July
• Assignment Length: 6+ Months
• Practice Setting: 100% Outpatient
• Schedule:
• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes 1-hour lunch)
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Coverage: 4-5 days per week, full-time

ClinicalResponsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care for adult patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate ongoing cardiac care.
• Review and interpret diagnostic studies, including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and ambulatory monitoring results.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete accurate and timely medical documentation.

PatientVolume

• Approximately 20 patients per day

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active California medical license
• General Cardiology experience required
• Interventional Cardiologists are welcome to apply but must be comfortable practicing general outpatient cardiology exclusively
