Job Details- Location: Du Bois, Pennsylvania - a friendly small-city community in scenic north-central Pennsylvania with easy access to outdoor recreation and a relaxed pace of life
- Position: Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist - General Anesthesia
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $11,090 - $11,690
- Coverage Dates: June 26, 2026 - July 24, 2026
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts from about 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or until cases are complete
- Call: Limited call with no weekend call
- Setting: Hospital-based general anesthesia practice
- Patient Population: Adult patients
- Average Daily Census: 20 or fewer
- Case Mix: Bread-and-butter general anesthesia cases including urology, gynecology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, plastic surgery, and orthopedics
- Support: Strong CRNA support and a collaborative anesthesia team
- Openings: 3
- EMR: Cerner
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology required
- Active Pennsylvania medical license required
- 1-2 years of anesthesiology experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Current DEA registration required
- Cerner EMR/charting experience required
- Ability to provide safe, efficient care for adult general anesthesia cases in a hospital setting
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care for adult patients across a variety of routine surgical procedures
- Manage general anesthesia cases with confidence, efficiency, and attention to patient safety
- Collaborate closely with CRNAs, surgeons, nurses, and perioperative team members to support a smooth daily workflow
- Perform preoperative evaluations, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative care
- Document accurately and consistently in Cerner EMR
- Contribute to a reliable weekday schedule with minimal call responsibilities
