Job Details- Type: Locum tenens, on-site physician coverage
- Specialty: Radiation Oncology (Radiation Oncologist)
- Schedule: Four daytime shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Coverage Dates: June 29, 2026 through July 2, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $9,030-$10,690
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
- Coverage Focus: Direct patient care; no routine treatment planning responsibilities
- Location: Georgetown, KY, with convenient access to Lexington and the charm of central Kentucky
- Board-certified Physician (MD) in Radiation Oncology required
- Active Kentucky medical license required; IMLC cannot be considered due to the short turnaround time
- ACLS certification required
- At least 1 year of radiation oncology experience required
- Experience with advanced external beam therapy modalities, including linear accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
- Comfort providing independent on-site clinical coverage in a locum tenens setting
- Provide locum tenens radiation oncology coverage in Georgetown, KY during the scheduled dates
- Evaluate and manage patients in an on-site clinical setting with professionalism and efficiency
- Support a steady daily patient volume while maintaining a high standard of care
- Apply advanced radiation oncology knowledge to support patient care and follow-up needs
- Collaborate smoothly with the clinical team to provide clinical support and help keep the day running efficiently
