Job Requirements
  • Board-certified Urologist
  • Active Washington medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
  • DEA registration required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • At least 1 year of urology experience required
  • Strong urologic surgical skills required
  • General adult urology experience required; pediatric and neonatal experience not required
  • Comfort independently managing inpatient coverage and surgical decision-making
  • Preferred experience with advanced urologic procedures such as robotic surgery, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)-guided biopsies
  • Additional experience with incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, renal/bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) is highly valued
Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive inpatient coverage for adult urology needs during scheduled 12 Hour Days with call coverage as needed
  • Evaluate and manage adult inpatient urology consults and urgent cases
  • Support surgical cases, call-backs, and clinical decision-making during scheduled coverage
  • Deliver efficient, high-quality patient care with strong clinical judgment throughout busy shifts
  • Collaborate closely with the care team and clinical support staff to support smooth patient flow and timely interventions
