Locum Tenens ENT Physician Job Details- Location: Newberg, Oregon - a welcoming community with small-town charm and easy access to the greater Portland area
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $6,360 - $6,810
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient care in an ENT/otolaryngology practice
- Coverage Need: 1 week per month (recurring monthly coverage)
- Schedule: Clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; surgical center on Thursday; weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Shift Times: 8:00am-5:00pm clinic; 8:30am-4:00pm surgical center; 5:00pm-8:00am night call; 24-hour weekend call
- Call Management: Managed through a mobile app
- Average Patient Volume: Manageable volume of about 10 patient encounters per shift
- Start Date: October 1, 2026
- Duration: Ongoing locum tenens coverage need
- Board certification in Otolaryngology required
- Active Oregon medical license required
- DEA registration required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least 1 year of otolaryngology (ENT) experience required
- Pediatric otolaryngology (pediatric ENT) experience preferred
- Ability to manage clinic, surgical center, inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage
- Provide comprehensive ENT and otolaryngology care for a mixed pediatric and adult patient population
- Manage clinic visits, surgical center procedures, and inpatient and outpatient consults
- Respond to emergency department (ED) and established patient call in a timely, professional manner
- Perform general otolaryngology and endoscopic procedures, including bronchoscopy and rigid laryngoscopy
- Complete NICU airway evaluations and support airway-related care as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, efficient ENT services in a patient-centered environment
